About Conference

The World Marine Science and Technology Conference (WMSTC) will be held during 23-26 September, 2019 in Qingdao, China. Guided by China Association for Science and Technology and hosted by Shandong Association for Science and Technology and the People’s Government of Qingdao, this conference will make its debut in China.

With the theme of “Innovating Maritime Technology for Industrial Progress”, the conference aims to strengthen exchanges in the international marine science and technology field, promote the level of opening up to the outside world, and gather global marine talents, academic and industrial resources, so as to build a high-end platform for marine academic exchanges, investment and experts’ attraction and achievements transformation in marine science and technology which is integrated of government, high-tech industry, talents, R&D achievements，finance device，intermediary service and the commercialization of research findings.

The WMSTC will include opening ceremony, keynote forums, symposia, new achievements display on maritime technology, the meetings for exchanging talents project and the transformation of achievements of marine science and technology as well as visits and inspections. During the conference, academic exchange will be conducted focusing on some hot topics and major advances in the field of ocean, such as the development of marine science, the utilization and protection of marine resources, the informatization and future progress, engineering and equipment in this aspect as well as the innovation in marine education.
