Tan Naifen

Tan Naifen graduated from the college of economics and management of Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She received the master degree in finance from Capital University of Economics and Trade in 1999. She obtained the professional title of economist in 1989, and the senior economist in 2000. She worked in China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation in 1984 and was transferred to China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry in 1995. She is currently the deputy secretary-general and director of statistics and information department of China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry.

She has worked in the shipping industry for more than 30 years, which makes her a senior research expert in this field. She is expert in the economic operation analysis of the shipping industry and her achievements are reported directly to the ministries and commissions. In the long-term analysis of the ship market, she has also studied the upstream and downstream industries that affect the market demand of ships, especially the application of marine metal materials in ships.
