Edward Laws

Dr. Edward A. Laws accomplished his undergraduate and Ph.D. education at Harvard University. he is a distinguished professor and the former Dean in the School of the Coast & Environment at Louisiana State University. Because of his great contributions in coastal wetland and environmental sciences during the past 12 years, Dr. Laws was awarded as the honorary professor in Qingdao Institute of Marine Geology (QIMG) in 2010, and received Qindao award in 2012, Qingdao Government Award in 2015, Chinese Government Friendship Award in 2018.
